The Challenge
Messages is a great gamified default texting app that brings more fun to everyday conversations. User activity is rewarded by unlocking new levels, achieving achievements and collecting badges. Our mission was to create a sticky factor to increase user retention and engagement.
Our Solution
We created a gamification design. A new user of the app starts as a Baby Messenger and earns points for every message sent and received to reach a higher Messenger status. User also earns badges for various activities in time and speed, and last but not least, user competes with his friends for a higher ranking.
